Fleury Unveils Unique Painting of OCT Property
April 23, 2011
More than 88 people applauded when painter Rick Fleury revealed his new 40" by 30" landscape, "For All Time," which overlooks Robert's Cove and Nauset Inlet in Orleans.
The landscape, valued at $5,200, was generously donated to OCT by Rick Fleury, a nationally known Cape artist and member of the prestigious Copley Society. Through Aug. 23, OCT is selling a chance to acquire this magnificent painting for just $20 a ticket. "Go home and look at your walls. Imagine how wonderful this painting will look on them and come and buy a ticket", OCT trustee Ad Vos advised the people who filled the Addison Art Gallery for the OCT fund-raiser.
Helen Addison and her gallery of painters provided the inspirational setting for the soiree dedicated to preserving open space in Orleans.
Orleans Wine and Spirit and the Land Ho! matched first-class wines with exceptional food. Dan Sullivan and Alan Clinger, gifted and versatile jazz musicians, provided the music and kept attendees' toes tapping.
OCT thanks all who attended for their support and contributions. If you were not able to attend the event, it is not too late to purchase your $20 raffle tickets. The odds are in your favor. No more than 500 tickets will be sold. The raffle drawing will be at the OCT Annual Meeting on August 23, 2011 at the Orleans Yacht Club.
